The Directors of SDC have Executive Director level experience at
national and international NGO levels, and have worked as Desk Officers,
Country Representatives and Consultants in international development. We
are aware of the central importance of the principles of Project Cycle
Management to successful project outcomes and organisational success.
Our services include:
Project planning and design: SDC will work with your team to develop
appropriate humanitarian and development interventions for diverse
settings and different funders. Tailored to your needs, our services
range from desk top reviews, situation analysis - including community
needs assessment and stakeholder analysis - and project planning from
concept note to full project proposal. We have many years developing and
critiquing results focussed planning tools such as the logical
framework.
We are experienced bidders to the Asian Development Bank, BIG, Chaine du
Bonheur, Comic Relief, the EC, Italian Cooperation, Swiss Development
Cooperation (SDC) UNDP and UNICEF. Additionally, SDC has helped national
NGOs win project funding from Group Development (France) and Terre des
hommes Italy and Lausanne, Switzerland.
Budget design: We will work with your team develop a budget at
concept note and full proposal stage, fully elaborated according to the
requirement of the funding agency.
Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning: SDC can
assist the design of financial and programme monitoring systems and
tools at the project design stage and during programme implementation.
We also offer a full review, monitoring and evaluation service for
humanitarian and development projects and programmes and for partners
and donors of NGOs.
With CEO experience in the UK and Bangladesh, and Country Director experience in Bangladesh, India, Israel/ Palestine, Sri Lanka, South Sudan and Uganda, SDC UK can provide senior professional short to medium term cover at times of organisational stress.
