Istiaque has 30 years' experience in the development sector in Bangladesh and the UK. He has served as Chief Accountant for an INGO and for 13 years as Executive Director of Bangladesh's leading child rights NGO. Istiaque brings experience and proficiency in the field of management, strategic planning, research, evaluation and financial management for 'not-for- profit' organizations in developing countries.

Istiaque is familiar with working in multidisciplinary teams in complex environments. He offers strong conceptual, design, analytical and numerical skills, possessing leadership qualities in the development and implementation of agreed strategies. He is experienced in humanitarian and development settings.
